Lexington, SC (WLTX) - A Lexington man is facing time in federal prison in connection to several fraud charges.

William Tye Grisel, 38, is charged with wire fraud and fraud involving a computer as part of a 153-count indictment.

Grisel reportedly defrauded his former employer Big Red Box, a national dumpster brokerage firm, of about $1.05 million by charging for marketing calls he never made. He also consulted for the Columbia-based company during the 3-year period of the alleged fraud.

For each wire fraud charges, Grisel faces a maximum of 20 years in federal prison, and 5 years for each fraud involving a computer charge.
