LEXINGTON, S.C. — If you are on city of Lexington water you may notice a bit of a smell.
A Facebook post on the Lexington's town page said that water customers may notice their water has a musty smell or taste.
The city says that the water is safe to drink but there are elevated levels of a naturally occurring compound which causes this issue.
The town says they are taking additional steps to address the issue.
