North Myrtle Beach, SC (WLTX) - North Myrtle Beach officials say a man had to be treated at the hospital after an apparent bite by a shark.
WBTW reports that the man say he was bitten by a three-to-five feet long shark around 3:25 p.m. Tuesday. The man told emergency personnel he felt a tug, then had his foot go in the animal's mouth.
He apparently was able to shake his foot loose and get to safety.
North Myrtle Beach spokesman Pat Dowling said the man had puncture wounds and blood on his foot.
