Columbia, SC (WLTX) — Although the Midlands did not get hit with sleet and snow like portions of Upstate South Carolina, there is still some concern about possible icy road conditions in the area.
Some school districts are planning on delayed openings for Monday, December 10, 2018. Here is the list so far:
Fairfield County: All schools and school offices are on a 2 hour delay
Lancaster County: Schools and school offices on 2 hour delay
Newberry County: All schools and offices will operate on a 2 hour delay. Buses will run two hours later than the regular route time with schools and offices beginning 2 hours later than normal. Three- and four-year-old kindergarten classes that meet only in the mornings will not be held
Newberry Academy: 2 hour delay
Chester County: Schools and school offices on 2 hour delay
Greenwood School District 50: 2 hour delay
