Columbia, SC (WLTX) - There will be more chances for rain over the next several days. Temperatures will be near normal.

The first half of May was hot and dry, but it has been quite wet for the past week. Weather patterns have been persistent at times this month and we are currently in a wet, unsettled pattern.

Moisture is streaming from the Caribbean into the Carolinas. The humidity is high with very warm conditions and mostly cloudy skies. Showers and thunderstorms have been active during the afternoons and this will likely continue.

Monday will be mostly cloudy. There will be a chance for showers and storms. High temperatures will be in middle 80s.

There may be a slightly better chance of showers and storms Tuesday. The clouds and rain may keep temperatures in the lower 80s for highs.

The chance for scattered showers and storms will continue Wednesday through Friday. High temperatures will be in the middle to upper 80s.

The wet, unsettled weather pattern will continue into the Memorial Day weekend. There will be a chance for rain both Saturday and Sunday. High temperatures will be in the middle 80s.
