BATESBURG-LEESVILLE, S.C. — One restaurant in Batesburg-Leesville is using some of the money they make to help make a difference in their community.

Street Squad Lexington talked with folks in the Batesburg-Leesville community to find out what makes their town so unique. One person thought the Hebrews Cafe should be recognized for what they do in the community.

The restaurant is located off East Railroad Avenue near Main Street. It’s been in business since February 2018.

Kyle Whalen is the Shift Leader at the restaurant. He says one of their main goals is to have a positive impact on the community.

“It provides good food for the spirit and for the soul and for the body,” said Whalen.
