IRMO, S.C. — Looking for a job in Irmo?
The United States Census Bureau is hiring field representatives in the Irmo area for the 2020 Complete Count Program.
These field representatives play roles in updating address lists and maps, conducting interviews with residents and explaining and answering census questions for residents.
According to their website, “Decennial census data are used to determine your representation in Congress, as well as how funds are spent for roads, schools, hospitals and more. Helping with this process ensures that everyone in your community is counted in the next decennial census.”
These jobs have flexible hours, with competitive wages that are paid weekly and expenses like gas mileage may be reimbursed for field workers.
The US Census has taken place every 10 years since 1790. These job openings are your chance to play a role in this tradition.
