IRMO, S.C. — Tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., REACH homeschool support will be hosting a Homeschool Expo at the Jamil Temple.

According to the SC Department of Education, almost 20,000 kids are homeschooled in SC.

Kim Andrysczyk is helping host this event to make sure homeschoolers get the most of their experience.

“Years ago we started as a used book sale and kind of have expanded from that," Andrysczyk tells us, "we have expanded to an opportunity fair so that vendors who have programs for homeschoolers, educational resources that can help benefit especially homeschoolers but honestly anybody- any parent any teacher.. you know lots of great really cool resources are coming so I’m super excited.”

Andrysczyk home schooled her three children and decided to use her 20 years of experience to keep helping others.

“Here to help new homeschoolers get started and that’s part of why we’re building this event... for new homeschoolers but also for people wherever they are in their journey can find what they need to be successful in educating their kids," Andrysczyk told us.
