KERSHAW COUNTY, S.C. — Representatives from the Kershaw County Sheriff's Office have announced a teenage girl reported missing on Friday has been found safe Monday afternoon.
Deputies and family in Kershaw County has been asking for the public's help finding a missing teen last seen on Friday night.
Kershaw County Sheriff Lee Boan confirmed to News19 that they have been searching for 14-year-old Madelyn King since just before 3 a.m.
A friend of the family told News19 that the teen had not been seen since 10 p.m. and that the child may have been in the 1600 block of Main Street in Lugoff at that time. She added that the child also has autism.
The sheriff asked anyone who may know where King is to call Kershaw County dispatch at 803-424-4000.
King was found safe Monday afternoon. No other details were given in this incident.
