COLUMBIA, S.C. — A unique local business is offering fun for residents in the Midlands.
Firefly Toys and Games, located on St. Andrews Road, started as a small store in Lexington six years ago before moving to St. Andrews last year.
The store offers a variety of activities for gaming fans, including an extensive board game section, a card game section, and even an old school arcade.
Robbie Wise, who has worked with Firefly Toys and Games for several years, says the store has something for everyone.
“We have tournaments for most of the games we play here," Wise says."The community seems to like us, we have free games to play you can just come in and we’ll teach you how to play them, everybody under the sun can come in and enjoy a game.”
Wise also says the store gives Midlands' residents a chance to relax and find some fun.
"Well one its a great way to relax it’s also a great way to learn something new while having fun," Wise says. "It’s also a good thing for families to do that’s not sitting around the television.”
