Suspect accused of touching USC women in bathroom identified

Investigators say the incidents happened at the Jones Physical Science Building and Hamilton College Monday evening.

COLUMBIA, S.C. — University of South Carolina police have identified a suspect who they say attempted to touch women inside bathrooms on campus.

Officers said Friday the man they're looking for is Travis Scott McKie.

Officers say McKie would enter the female restrooms and reach underneath the stall dividers in an attempt to touch the women's buttocks and thighs.

Witnesses describe the suspect as 6 feet tall and weighing 180 pounds. They've also released surveillance images of him.
