It may be a short jail release for a man deputies say lead them on a chase in a stolen car.

The brief chase began on Wildwood Lane in Kershaw County Friday night. It ended when the suspect blew a stop sign and crashed his car into a front yard behind Lugoff-Elgin High School.

Deputies say the car he was driving was stolen out of Lexington. They also say the man had just gotten out of jail in December of last year, and was on supervised release.

"When will they learn?" the office wrote in a Facebook post.

The man was transported to a local hospital. His condition, along with any potential charges, are unknown at this time.
