Columbia, SC (WLTX) - Columbia police are trying to determine who killed a Columbia woman in an area behind a local church.
Police say 52-year-old Brenda Victoria Jackson was shot in the head. Her body was found in a wooded area behind Rehoboth Restoration Church on Koon road on August 7.
Officers say based on their investigation, Jackson had been walking in the area moments before people heard gunfire.
At this point, however, police say they believe this is an isolated incident.
