KERSHAW COUNTY, S.C. — Three golf buddies are a bit richer after buying a winning ticket in the South Carolina Education Lottery.
The golfers purchased a Palmetto Cash Five ticket and their ticket matched all the numbers drawn on Tuesday Feburary 4 (23-26-31-35-38) and because the spent an extra $1 to power up the three turned $100,000 into $200,000 when the "2" multiplier was selected.
The odds of winning $200,000 playing Palmetto Cash 5 are 1 in 1,003,884.
