FAIRFIELD COUNTY, S.C. — The United States Geological Survey reported a minor earthquake in Fairfield County Thursday morning.
The earthquake was measured at a 2.5 magnitude around 4:03 a.m. 10 miles north of Chapin.
The South Carolina Emergency Management Division tweeted the report from the USGS Thursday morning.
