14-year-old missing from Gastonia safely located

Police said 14-year-old Trinity Nance was last seen at her home on Jan. 5.

GASTONIA, N.C. — Gastonia detectives say a 14-year-old girl who had been missing for more than a week is now back home and safe with loved ones.

The Gastonia Police Department said the teen was last seen at her home on Jan. 5. In a tweet, Gastonia police said they had reason to believe she was either in Charlotte or Concord. 

On Jan. 19, police confirmed she was located safe and was now at home.
