It's already been a record-setting season for the Newberry College baseball team.

Today, the team will compete in its first ever post-season game in the NCAA era. The Wolves are a 2 seed and hosting the Division II Southeast Regional.

The Wolves are coming in with a single season record 41 wins and the program's ever regular season championship.

That's quite a way for Danton Hyman to end his career. The senior from Mid Carolina High School is the reigning South Atlantic Conference Player of the Year after recording a school record 90 hits so far this season.

Hyman has been wearing hearing aides since he was two years old as he has just 30 percent hearing in each year. But Hyman sees his hearing loss as a way to inspire anyone with a disability.
