COLUMBIA, S.C. — Following the completion of the NFL Draft Dutch Fork product Matt Colburn II signed with the LA Rams on Saturday night.
Matt played at Wake Forest after having his Louisville scholarship pulled days before national signing day. But he ran the ball very well at Wake Forest.
The 2014 Mr.South Carolina ran for 243 yards against Louisville this past season. No doubt he'll be competing in Rams camp with a chip on his shoulder to prove people wrong just like he did Bobby Petrino who pulled his scholarship.
In four years the Irmo native produced over 2,500 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns.
Matt will be one of six running backs for the Rams once camps start. There will be a lot of competition for snaps but he'll have a shot.
