Columbia, SC (WLTX) - The Columbia Fireflies took their first team photo Tuesday, just two days before the team begins their inaugural season in South Carolina's capital city.

The team lined up on the steps of the new Spirit Communications Park in Columbia to take their portrait. It's the first time the team has posed as an official group.

The team also released their unofficial roster, a group that will be led by skipper Jose Leger.

On Thursday, the team will drive down to Charleston to take on the River Dogs, their first contest of the year. After completing a four game series there, and then a three game series against Rome, GA, they'll come to Columbia for their first home game against the Greenville Drive.

It will be the first home game for a minor league baseball team since 2004, when the Capital City Bombers played their final game in town. Coincidentally, the Bombers moved to Greenville after that season, and eventually became--the Greenville Drive.

Game time for that first home contest is set for 7:05 p.m.
