Orangeburg-Wilkinson head basketball coach Cedrick Simpson refers to D'Mya Tucker as the "Scottie Pippen of high school basketball" because of the way she contributes to her team. Whether it's leading the team in scoring (17.2 points per game) rebounding (10.2 rebounds per game) or getting her teammates involved, D'Mya knows that it's not just about her individual statistics.

Colleges came calling and eventually, Tucker signed with North Carolina A&T where she plans on majoring in business administration.

But before she begins her time in college, D'Mya is hoping to lead Orangeburg-Wilkinson deep into the 4A playoffs.
