National Signing Day for high school sports

Plenty of pictures were taken on this National Signing Day for various high school sports.

Football will have its National Signing Day next month but the first NSD of the 2018-2019 saw the likes of basketball, baseball, softball and soccer represented.

Around the Midlands, schools brought out the backdrops and tables for the special occasions.

At Ridge View High School, 6-11 center Malcolm Wilson signed with Georgetown. Back in March, Wilson helped the Blazers win their first state title in basketball.

From the Big East to the Ohio Valley Conference where Chico Carter, Junior will take his talents. Carter, a senior point guard for Cardinal Newman, signed with the Racers of Murray State.

The first Division I signee for the Swansea girls soccer program signed with Presbyterian College. Bri Reynolds, who last year set the state's single season scoring record, put pen to paper with her teammates, friends and family members in attendance.
