Courtney Clark admits it isn't easy juggling two sports with the high academic rigors she faces at Wilson Hall.

But the senior has willed her way to excellence on the court and in the classroom. As a junior, she shared region player of the year honors before earning that award outright this past season.

However, the toughest challenge she has faced came in her freshman year when she was diagnosed with a brain tumor. At the time, Courtney didn't know if she would even walk much less play volleyball again. But through a lot of hard work and determination, she won that battle and came back as strong as ever, even keeping up her grades during that time.

Courtney says she doesn't know where she will attend college, but she plans on majoring in exercise science. If she has a chance to play college volleyball, that could play a role in which college she attends.
