After losing game one to Blythewood in extra innings on Saturday, Dutch Fork made sure game 2 did not have to go overtime.

The Silver Foxes responded with a 6-1 victory which forces a winner-take-all game 3 Friday night at Segra Park, the home of the Columbia Fireflies.

At Hammond, the Skyhawks faced a go or go home scenario and they responded with a 12-11 win over Ben Lippen.

Hammond led 12-5 thanks in part to a Tucker Toman grand slam and a Reese Holbrook 2-run triple. But the Falcons scored six runs in the top of the ninth to put a scare into the Skyhawks.

Game three is set for Thursday night, 7:00 p.m. at Lexington County Baseball Stadium.
