SOUTH CONGAREE, S.C. — Emergency responders were on the scene of an accident in South Congaree Wednesday afternoon after a vehicle ran into a building.
Official say a dump truck overturned and struck a building in the 1200 block of Main Street in South Congaree.
Officials say five people were injured and transported by EMS for treatment. None of the injuries are reported to be life threatening.
Power outages were reported in the area for several hours and some traffic signals were out as well.
Officials with the Town of South Congaree say the town's municipal court session tonight has been canceled due to the loss of power. All defendants will be getting a letter letting them know when court is rescheduled, according to Paul Kirby.
