COLUMBIA, S.C. — Fort Jackson officials sent out a message on Wednesday morning that the Gate 4 entrance is still closed due to flooding. Gate 4 is located off of Percival Road.
According to the post, all visitors to Fort Jackson must enter through Gate 2 on Forest Drive (Exit 12 off I-77). This includes visitors who are participating in Family Day.
Any service members and civilian employees are permitted to enter through either Gate 1 or Gate 5. Officials say delays can be expected.
