LEXINGTON, S.C. — Police in the Town of Lexington will be focusing on speeding and unsafe driver practices as they conduct public safety checkpoints at several locations in town.
Lexington Police say this is in response to an increase in collision incidents and citizen traffic complaints. Officers will be checking driver’s licenses, vehicle registration, and insurance requirements.
The checkpoints will be in place Monday, July 18, through Wednesday, July 20, 2022.
