LEXINGTON, S.C. — The City of Columbia's Public Works division is concerned about the condition of roads after this past weekend's flooding issues.

The city posted a photograph of Lost Creek Drive, near the Chestnut Hill Plantation community, showing water still covering the road Sunday morning.

Citing concerns over the safety of the bridge, the city will keep the road closed until floodwaters recede and an inspection of the road and bridge can be completed.
