All lanes clear from multi-car accident on I-26 in Calhoun County

CALHOUN COUNTY, S.C. — A multi-vehicle accident that had slowed traffic on Interstate 26 in Calhoun County has now been cleared. 

According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol the accident was in the eastbound lanes at the 124 mile marker.  That's near the Old Sandy Run Road exit.

Troopers said just after 4 p.m. that they were able to move the collision off to the side of the road, and a few minutes later, said the scene was cleared.

It's not clear what led to the collision. There have been no serious injuries reported from it. 

Calhoun County: There is a multi-vehicle collision on Interstate 26 eastbound at the 124 mile marker. Please use caution when driving through the area. Be mindful that six lanes turns into four lanes in this area of the interstate.
