LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. — The Lexington County coroner's office has released the name of a man who died on Wednesday in a crash.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol said previously that the crash happened around 6 p.m. that day in the area of Muddy Springs Road and Bledsoe Drive in the Red Bank community.
Preliminary details suggest that the vehicle left the right side of the road, struck a ditch, and then overturned, killing the driver.
On Sunday, a statement from Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher confirmed the driver was 36-year-old Anthony J. Henderson of Lexington.
Fisher said Henderson was not wearing a seatbelt during the accident and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol and the Fisher's office.
