SCDOT to repair potholes along I-77 on March 29

Motorists are asked to use caution in the area between mile markers 2 and 3.5 southbound on I-77.

COLUMBIA, S.C. — Motorists should be aware of a planned lane closure along I-77 early next week as the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) will have crews working to repair potholes on the interstate.

SCDOT will close the far right lane of I-77 Southbound from mile marker 3.5 (Congaree River) to mile marker 2 (Exit 2/SC-35/Cayce/West Columbia) beginning Tuesday, March 29, 2022. Depending on the weather, road crews will be making repairs 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Motorists should plan ahead and use caution in the area.
