LEXINGTON, S.C. — According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, one person is dead in a single fatal collision in Lexington.
The vehicle was found near Mill Stream Road on Lexington County around 1 p.m. on Wednesday. South Carolina Highway Patrol believes the accident happened November 12, Tuesday night, around 11pm.
According to David Jones with the South Carolina Highway Patrol says the driver of the 2008 Toyota SUV was wearing a seat belt and was traveling west on Mill Stream road when the car went off the road, into a ditch and then down an embankment.
The name of the deceased is not yet known.
The crash is under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
