AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. — The National Weather Service now confirms a tornado struck in Aiken County during Thursday's storms.

A storm survey team went out Friday and examined the damage left on Stable View Farm along Springfield Church Road. Photos taken from the scene showed pieces of a building torn apart and several snapped trees.
