USC softball is on the road for game two of their first conference series of the year taking on Ole Miss.

Gamecocks down 0-2 in the bottom of the fourth before Kenzi Maguire hits one to deep right field and she scores two runs to tie the game on what would be a triple for her.

Then in the seventh inning USC up 3-2 and Maguire extends the lead with another huge swing. It's good enough for a home run over the left field fence. Her first home run of the year gives the Gamecocks a 5-2 lead.

USC pitcher Dixie Raley pitched a complete game with 7 KS and one earned and USC wins 5-2 to clinch their first SEC series of the year.

Beverly Smith now has career win 251 and is second all time at USC. The Gamecocks will go for the sweep tomorrow.
