EASTOVER, S.C. — Residents in the Lower Richland area surrounding McCrady Training Center should be aware there may be some loud noises occurring throughout the day as soldiers participate in training exercises this weekend.
Soldiers with the 1st Battalion, 178th Field Artillery, South Carolina Army National Guard, will be conducting routine training with artillery from Thursday, April 24, through Sunday, April 28.
Persons in the area near the intersection of Leesburg and McCords Ferry roads should expect to hear noises associated with artillery fire -- pistol and machine gun fire.
