Columbia, SC (WLTX) - The Riverbanks Zoo and Garden says it has several new cute, baby animals for visitors to enjoy.
The latest are a trio of red-ruffed lemur babies which were born on June 30. They're the first red-ruff lemurs to be born at the zoo since 1993.
The lemurs--two males and one female--were born to parents Mahambo and Mena. The lemurs can be found in the zoo's Riverbanks' Conservation Outpost.
The zoo also announced they have a new flamingo chick over at the Birdhouse at Riverbanks, and a koaly joey at the Koala Knockabout. The joey just emerged from its mother's pouch in May.
