BOISE, Idaho — Lovevery is recalling 169,000 kids mugs from "The Inspector" play kit after U.S. safety regulators found the handle can detach, posing a choking hazard for small children.

The kids' toys company reports 70 breaks, two of which involved a child putting the handle in their mouth. Fortunately, no choking injuries have occurred.

"The Inspector" play kit was sold from July 2018 through July 2021 for around $80 on Lovevery.com

In response, the company is providing a replacement cup. To get your replacement, go to Lovevery.com, email drinkingcup@lovevery.com or call (877)-367-3175.

Then, register your cup on the company's website by uploading a photo of your cup with "X Recalled X" written in the inside with a permanent marker. Afterwards, dispose of the mug, and Lovevery will send you a new undamaged cup.
