AMBER Alert canceled for 2 Salisbury toddlers

WCNC Charlotte is asking for further details.

SALISBURY, N.C. — An alert for two children missing from Salisbury has been canceled.

The Salisbury Police Department activated an AMBER Alert late Friday night for the toddlers. They were believed to be with a man in a gray Nissan Altima at the time.

The alert was canceled shortly after 11:30 p.m. 

Police said both children were found safe a short time after the alert was issued. However, the suspect has not been found as of Saturday morning.

An alert sent to mobile phones Friday night indicated the man was not to be approached.
