COLUMBIA, S.C. — Richland County Coroner Naida Rutherford has identified the person whose body was found Monday, April 22, near the intersection of Garners Ferry and Leesburg roads.
25-year-old Philip A Edelmayer, of Columbia, was found in the area under the I-77 overpass Monday morning.
No cause of death was given but Columbia Police said at the time of discovery that Edelman's body showed no outward signs of foul play.
Columbia Police and the Coroner's Office continue to investigate the incident.
