Property owner Wanda Jenkins filed a police report on Wednesday.

According to Jenkins, three vehicles were left in the garage when the home was closed in 2019.

She says the incident took place on March 31, when a 1964 black Cadillac hearse was stolen from the business.

Other items include four caskets worth $40,000, four removal cots worth $7,200 and $8,000 worth of embalming equipment. This includes $3,000 cases of embalming chemicals, $2,000 embalming instruments such as scalpel blades, and embalming needles, and a $3,000 embalming machine.

Additional missing items include funeral tents, five church truck trollies, personal protective equipment, dressing tables, stationary equipment, men's ties, and toilet paper.

According to the report, Ms. Sheera Yates was the licensed manager, funeral director, and embalmer of the funeral home when they closed in 2019.

She went into the building with the building's caretaker, George Green on Monday to inventory the missing items.
