CORDOVA, S.C. — A local South Carolina fire crew was heading to clear a downed tree from a road. Little did they realize they would find a little bit of South Carolina inside.
The Cordova Fire Department in Orangeburg County shared an interesting picture on Sunday after getting a call regarding a tree down in a roadway. But it wasn't until after they cut the tree that the crew found a triangular structure inside - that roughly resembles the very state where it was located.
"How cool is that?!?!" the department commented on its Facebook page.
One commenter described the find as "awesome" while another suggested that "that is a South Carolina tree for sure!"
