Columbia, SC (WLTX) - Hundreds of people gathered at the Taylor St. garage in Columbia for the annual Jim Clyburn Fish Fry.
Every year people come out to enjoy music, drinks, and the fish.
Congressman Clyburn says he keeps holding the fish fries as a thank you to all of the voters. The event also lets voters get to know some of the up and coming democratic candidates.
Congressman Clyburn says this presidential election season is unlike anything he's seen in the past.
"I think all of us know that this is a very unusual cast of characters. this atmosphere this year is pretty toxic, but I think that things will settle down after the primaries are over and we'll have some serious discussions."
