LANCASTER, S.C. — The Lancaster Police Department said it found the missing teen officers were searching for on Friday. The department said he hadn't been heard from in about 24 hours.
Before going missing, the 13-year-old was last seen Thursday afternoon near the Oakleaf Drive Apartments in Lancaster when he was dropped off from school. He hasn't been heard from since then, which was when he communicated via text message.
