IRMO, S.C. — Irmo police have said that Charles Gregory has been found safe.
Police credit SLED's bloodhound tracking division with help finding Gregory.
Irmo police are asking for the public's help to find a missing man who has dementia and is considered endangered.
Police say 89-year-old Charles Gregory who was last seen around 12:30 pm Monday afternoon walking on Columbia Avenue, near Midlands Technical College Harbison Campus, toward College Street.
Gregory, who is 6-feet tall and 170 pounds, was last seen wearing a gray and blue track suit.
Because he suffers from dementia, police say Gregory may not be aware of his surroundings.
