CROWN POINT, Ind. - Two-hundred-forty-five years in prison is the sentence handed down to a serial killer in Indiana.Eugene Britt, who turns 49 Saturday, confessed to raping and murdering nine women and girls. He ultimately pleaded guilty to three of the killings and the rape of a 13-year-old girl.Britt reached his plea deal a week after a judge declared him mentally incompetent and ruled that he could not be executed.Shaking and crying in court yesterday, Britt said he's truly sorry for his sins and takes full responsibility for his actions. He said, "God knows I'm guilty."
