SUMTER, S.C. — A man who died in a Sumter moped accident on Thursday has been identified.
Sumter Coroner Robert Baker says the victim is 57-year-old Terry Flynt of Blanche Road in Sumter.
A press release from the coroner's office said they responded to a car and moped accident on North Guignard drive and Oxford street around 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
Flynt was pronounced dead at the scene.
An autopsy is scheduled to be performed Friday morning at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.
