SUMTER, S.C. — The Penny for Progress is on the ballot November 8 for voters in Sumter.

The penny was first approved by voters in 2008, then renewed in 2014. The two previous pennies have seen over $150 million in capital improvement projects all over Sumter County that have raised our quality of life, stimulated job creation, improved infrastructure and benefited our local and regional economy.
