Columbia, SC (WLTX) --- For the second time in six months, Shaka Smart landed Dreher shooting guard Tevin Mack.
Ranked as one of the top 75 players in the country, Mack signed with VCU in November. But when Smart left Richmond for Austin, Mack was granted his release from VCU and was back on the market.
After a lengthy process which included making an unofficial visit to Texas, Mack announced Tuesday he was following Smart to the Lonestar State.
Mack chose Texas over Georgia, Clemson and Kansas.
Unlike November's announcement which featured Mack emerging from a curtain sporting a VCU shirt, Tuesday's announcement was more low key - a simple announcement at the podium followed by the donning of a Longhorn shirt.
