Jordan Anderson Hopes To Keep The Momentum Going

NASCAR driver Jordan Anderson is in Atlanta hoping for another great run.

Fresh off his first career top 10 finish in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, Jordan Anderson is in Atlanta for Saturday's Active Pest Control 200 benefiting Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

Anderson finished ninth in last week's race at Daytona, and he says he still has the Daytona glow.

"It's still here, it's still here," he said.

"You know last week was huge for us. A new team that was our first race. We put everything we had going into Daytona. We started to start the year out on a good foot.

"We're here in Atlanta, but last week was awesome. To get a top 10, we almost had a top five. For those of you who watched, we were coming across the line, should have had a top five, got spun out there at the end, still brought home a top 10. New team, new number, new partners. It was an exciting week for us.

Jordan is in his first year as an owner/driver and he has the 3 on his rides.

Race two is today in Atlanta and a new week brings new challenges. Jordan is back in a Chevrolet as his Toyota will be run at Daytona and Talladega with the Chevy used for intermediate tracks.

The A.C. Flora graduate who is in his fourth year in the truck series says the most important goal for him is to bring home a clean truck so as to keep the expenses down. As an owner/driver, every part that has to be replaced comes out of his pocket. If he can keep the truck in one piece, the plan will be to push the issue when he can and be there for another good finish at the end.
