Kickoff Times For Two Clemson Games Are Announced

Clemson's kickoff times for games against Furman and Georgia Southern have been announced.

Kickoff times for two of Clemson's first three games of the 2018 season have been announced by the ACC.

Clemson opens the season on September 1 at home against Furman. The contest will start at 12:20 p.m. and will be televised by the ACC Network.

Two weeks later on September 15, Clemson will play host to Georgia Southern. That contest will have a 3:30 p.m. kickoff and will be broadcast on either ABC, ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNU.

Clemson’s second game of the year will be at Texas A&M on September 8. The time and television network will be released by the SEC office later in the month.

The season opener with Furman kicks off the second year of the Clay Hendrix era. It will also mark the first game as a college coach for USC's all-time winningest quarterback Connor Shaw who was hired in January as the Palainds tight ends coach. Shaw was 27-5 as a starter for the Gamecocks. That included a perfect 17-0 mark at Williams-Brice Stadium. He also never lost to the arch-rivals during his time at USC.
