CLEMSON, S.C. — At the end of the 2019 NFL Draft Clemson had 5 or more players drafted for the 5th time in 6 years. The only other schools to do that are Alabama and Ohio State.

All of the power rangers on the Clemson's defensive front have been drafted. Austin Bryant went in the fourth round to the Detroit Lions going 117th overall.

Bryant was a first team all-american in 2017 and as third team All-ACC last year.

In two seasons he generated 30.5 tackles for loss and 17 sacks. To show his toughness he tore his pectoral muscle but played through it during his senior season and Clemson went on to win it's 2nd national title in 3 years. He made 29 starts in his four year career.

Jon Gruden picks the old man out of Clemson. That's right Hunter Renfrow goes 149th overall in the 5th round to the Raiders on Satuday. He is the third Clemson player drafted by the Raiders.

So this may be the Oakland Tigers or Vegas Tigers the way this draft went for Clemson players.

A lot of people had Hunter pegged as a sure fire Patriots draft pick because he doesn't look like your typical receiver but he gets it done.

Hunter made 47 starts in 55 games at Clemson with over 2000 yards receiving and 15 touchdowns none bigger than the one at the buzzer to beat Alabama in 2017 for the national title.

He'll bring his timely play-making and wealth of experience to Oakland where he joins Clelin Ferrell and Trayvon Mullen.
